Why I Want To Become a Special Education Teacher

I want to be a special education teacher because i love working with children with special needs. I have been working with them for the past for years and i decided i wanted to further my career. Not to mention i will get paid for doing what i love. I recently got a job with NISRA which is an orginazation that runs summer day camps of all ages for special needs children.

What Exactly is Special Education

Special Education is instruction that is specially desgined, at no cost to the parents or guadians, to meet the student's unique needs. Specially designed instruction means adapting the content, methodology, or delivery of instruction in order to fulfill the following:-To address the unique needs of the student that result from his or her disability.- To ensure the student's access to the general curriculum so that he or she can meet the educational standards that apply to all studets within the jurisdiction of the public agency.
